Yes, it helps. Flexibility .. Balance ... everything that comes with a ballet training. You can begin to double the learning at any age, but must catch up with their age group. Prepared for the long hours and extra effort! Go to the ballet, you might help. It's fun, and you can make friends. Here are a few things before they try ballet lessons, so Jütro no idea.

^ I'm not sure what it is, I've never heard of a lift. Call it a relief for all cases.

^ These are the 5 ballet positions of the feet.

The ballet is also necessary for ice skating! The positions must be known, turns, jumps ... All of these can skating on the ice! It takes at least learn the basics. This can really help ... You can learn at any age ballet, but the problem is the flexibility. Everyone knows that you need to be flexible, and age can be tough! Just find a few good dance studios in your area, take a small drop in classes, and go! Take almost 24 / 7 for several months, and you can be amazed by what you can do so quickly. Intensives are great because you learn very quickly, ... Recommend you ask your teacher, perhaps a little ice skating. Put the ice skating can give some great classes that you need! Good luck! Hope this helps! : D

In a way he could. It's funny, jumps, turns * you get it. As someone said, you should be sure, however, a little ballet dictionary or glossary have. Do you know what you get out to develop tension, and, perhaps, the bra of 5 positions. Stretch a lot, as it is for ice skating.
Even if you do not want to make a career (or even if you want) if you work hard you will do well.

* I'm sure there are no skaters on the floor, but the dancers do, so be sure to keep this law.

I'm not a skater on ice, but I am a ballet dancer, and I would say yes, because it is your position on the ice it is, I would find a good ballet school and not just one class per week:) Good luck:) x

I am a ballet dancer. I would say that the ballet be useful if you have an intermediate skater - a figure which would be maintained. Certainly contribute to the flexibility, coordination and balance.
Good luck!
